Although on the web since 1998, this version of our store is quite new (1/20/07). We continue to explore ways to dress it up or make it a more pleasing shopping experience. Contacting us with any suggestions you have, or about any problems you experienced, or about parts you found difficult would be most welcome.

 

This store is not configured to include shipping charges in your confirmed order total. You will receive an automatic confirmation without shipping charges and then a personalized confirmation dealing with the best method of shipment and the lowest cost to you for shipping. An email dialogue may ensue until you are happy with the arrangement. There is no automatic shipping calculation that ensures that you pay as little as necessary. We make no profit (or loss) on shipping and work with the smallest possible handling charge factor, tailored for each shipment and known to the customer before charges occur. Note that we ship worldwide and need to be careful about the demands of exporting.

No charges to a customer's account are made directly by this process. Charges are processed by credit card terminal in our office when ready to ship. Information entered here  is secure and will be retrieved encrypted by the proprietor. Credit card information is retained only on one printed copy of an invoice. An order will be followed by an automatic confirmation email. A customer will have the information needed to inquire about an order, change it, or cancel it prior to shipment or charge to a credit card account. That assumes contact is timely, prior to shipment.

Once shipped, all orders are considered final. We ship what was ordered. Nothing is shipped on approval. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so all things remain negotiable, but there is no entitlement to return something that was shipped as ordered. Any return that does occur must be authorized. Customers pay all shipping charges, including packaging and handling. When actual shipping is paid by credit card, there is a small percentage handling fee. We work with a sharp pencil, so you save money.

A return request may be refused, or a restocking/depreciation fee may be deducted from any return credit. We will do our best to ensure fairness and good relations with a responsible and reasonable customer. Sales are fully supported by expert answers to questions and by friendly and candid advice prior to placing an order. To summarize our policy, no harm in asking, but we reserve the right to say "no" to a return request, when we ship what was ordered. Regardless, any return must be in the same condition as when first shipped and subject to being resold without apologies for its less than "new" condition. Without that, a full credit will not be considered. Any amount will be determined after we inspect the return. We do, of course, accept full responsibility for any mistakes or oversights in processing your order.

You may, and probably will, receive further email contact after your order is downloaded for fulfillment and analyzed for processing. That is especially true for instrument orders where there may be questions about some option not addressed by the ordering process. "Chord layout" is a good example, since we usually do not recommend the factory layout.

We have many happy customers and want you to be one of them. Any complaints have been very rare, we learned from those few, and did our best to set things right. We do not benefit from unhappy customers. Testimonials available on request.
